The God of all Comfort
In a world filled with pain and unanswered questions, we all long for comfort that’s real—comfort that restores strength, brings hope, and holds us up when life feels heavy. In 2 Corinthians 1:3–4, Paul calls God “the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort.”
That means God isn’t distant from what you’re walking through—He is moved by it. His compassion doesn’t just observe pain; it steps into it. And His comfort isn’t shallow or temporary. It’s strength for the storm—peace in the middle of it, grace to endure it, and courage to keep going.
Paul also says God comforts us in all our troubles. There isn’t a type of struggle God refuses to meet you in. Whether it’s physical, emotional, relational, or spiritual—He is present and faithful.
And here’s the purpose: God comforts you so you can comfort others. What He poured into you during your hardest seasons becomes what you can pour out to someone else. Your survival becomes someone’s hope.
Today, don’t just ask God to comfort you—invite Him to make you a comforter too.
