What You Focus On Develops

Just like in photography, whatever you focus your lens on becomes sharp, while everything else fades. The same is true in your spiritual life—what you focus on begins to grow. If you focus on fear, it will multiply. But if you focus on God’s promises, His faithfulness, and His Word, peace and purpose will develop in you. Philippians 4:8 reminds us to think about what is true, noble, pure, and praiseworthy. So ask yourself: What’s been filling your focus lately? Remember, what you magnify will multiply.
