Steps to Freedom
Freedom in Christ is more than being forgiven—it is learning how to walk in the truth that Jesus has already made available to us.
Many believers are saved, but still struggle with old patterns of fear, shame, guilt, and self-condemnation. Jesus said that the truth will set us free, and Galatians reminds us that it is for freedom that Christ has set us free.
But freedom requires intentional steps.
First, we must take responsibility for our own actions and attitudes. We cannot keep blaming others for what God is calling us to surrender.
Second, we must remove lies and replace them with truth. The enemy uses lies to keep us bound, but God’s Word reveals who we really are in Christ.
Third, we must identify and remove deception. The Holy Spirit wants to reveal the blind spots, compromises, and false beliefs that have taken root in our hearts.
And finally, we must walk in the Spirit daily. Freedom is not just a one-time experience—it is a lifestyle of surrender, prayer, Scripture, and obedience.
Freedom is not simply the absence of bondage. True freedom is the presence of Jesus ruling our hearts and minds.
Today, choose truth. Choose surrender. Choose to walk in the freedom Christ died to give you.
